Through The Legs

This shot was taken on Enasoit, one of the private conservancies in Northern Kenya. Enasoit is an amazing place to take pictures as the wildlife comes to you, especially the elephants. They have a dam and a salt lick right in front of camp, thus attracting game through out the day.

I spent the morning, lying watching herd after herd of elephants come through drink and move on. This little baby was very shy and kept close to her mother at all times. Eventually her mother walked right past where I was with her baby trying to hide between her legs. Lying on the ground and being on the same plain as the elephants allowed e to get a clean picture of the baby and used her mothers body to frame the image.
